I also dont enjoy getting behind somebody on line who is going nuts buying 200 tickets, because then I might have to go down the street to another store.

I assume you're talking about 200 tickets and not 200 lines, because buying 200 lines might only be 40 or 20 tickets and lots of people buying for a pool might buy that many which should only take a minute or two even when the terminals are slow. His advisor had his winnings invested in a annuity paying him $85k per month for the rest of his life and that wasn't enough for David Edwards. He cashed out and proceeded to blow his entire fortune.

Just because an annuity option is available doesn't mean someone who can't handle money is safe. There have been many past winners who had taken the annuity option simply because the cash lump payout wasn't available and cashed out.

I feel a sense of impending doom.

But that happens quite often.

Aside from that, I feel sequential numbers coming on - two, and quite possibly three.

I also experienced sporadic ephemeral vibes from the 3.

my thoughts is what would happen to annuities as theyr emeant to be muni bonds, if all the states are bankrupts? wont be much revenue from them. diversification, differnt properties in as many countries as possible. invest in local business. farms, retail , manufacture in ea country, get lawyers/ accountants and councel for ea place. spend a few months at ea house, make pals with neigbours. rent places out, or allow family to stay in empty places.

If there are 1 billion ticket sales for a drawing, then the average number of winners would be 1 billion / 175 million = around 5.7 winners as an average.

It would create a lot of buzz if it was predetermined that the money would be distributed. I also think a nationalized pool would create more distribution of wealth. I think people would pay $4 per line instead of $2 in order to share the jackpot with others who paid $4 per line.

I would probably give good friends like 13K each per year as to not trigger any taxes for them. And if they were married with kids maybe 13K each person per year.... Also, I am contemplating starting several new businesses (In the field I am already in and know very well) and I could also employ them at a higher than normal salary. Truthfully I am not 100% sure, I will need to iron out the details with my advisors.

Wasn't there an issue a while back where a guy had his ticket somewhat ruined by trying to make a photocopy of it? I remember reading that and the first thing I did was put an old loser ticket in my scanner to make sure I could make a copy of a winning one without ruining it.

Thankfully tickets here seem pretty durable.

It's like you're asking would you rather have 15 chances of winning the jackpot instead of 10 hoping to score on the prizes 99.7% of the tickets won't win. On the other hand you can double your winnings (4 times matching 4 + 1) with an extra buck using PowerPlay.

Though I doubt they would be kicking themselves for spending an extra buck, has anyone who used PowerPlay or the Megaplier won a jackpot

When I win, I will only visit the US to see family. No way would I be sitting in a house in US! My address would be name the airline first class seat and hotel/apartment in name your non-US country. So even if I were to win the jackpot this week, I would still do the interview with following caveats:

1) I would appear in a disguise for the press conference.

I considered that, and then I thought, if no matter what, they are going to get that 39.6 from you, why not take it all up front? (knock on wood). The amount seems arbitrary. They have no guarantee they'd be getting that other almost 15% either. If they feel they have to take something right away, then take the 14.6% first, and wait for the 25%

Totally agreed. I love the outdoors and nature. So maybe somewhere in Colorado or California close to the forests/mountain area. You should come visit us where people play scratchers sitting down in front of a large uncovered trash bin where they neatly dispose of their losers. It must be tough for MM to accurately estimate their jackpot for the next drawing.

Right now they have a huge jackpot but only increased the prize by 20 million for the next draw. With PB having an even larger jackpot I wonder whether PB hits or not will have a huge impact on MM sales for the next drawing. Depends at what age they won the Big One. If they were in their 60-70's and still alive, they will have money to brag about, if they won in their 20-30's ..its anyone's guess. My money is on them being broke, living with aged parents or worse yet- six ft under.

And actually, all the other players did nothing wrong, they matched the drawn numbers to various degrees, and would keep their prizes. The lottery would not be out any more money than they would be with a fair draw, so they are covered. That number, even if rigged, is the same as any other number to the rest of the players.

Sure, the players did nothing wrong, and it was great that they won (with rigged numbers) ... but what about the players that would have / should have won had the numbers

Talking pick 3 I don't know how you want to eliminate the bank advantage of 50 percent. Anything I read about pick 3 was garbage, unless it was mathematics.

While not as big as MM/PB, look at tonight's draw for our CA lotto game: (30 31 32 34 39 +6)

You can also create your mix in Excel using the random function. If you ask a full lotto for 15 euros here, you get a qp with every number twice in total. I think that if you ask it here for 5 euros, you would get five different combinations, no overlaps.

I wrote a simple full lotto function for Excel.

=FullLotto(5;1;56)

gives

The only way I could win both would be if the numbers are exactly the same for both games. If that were to occur, I would not have an address for long in the US! But I would be so content with winning just one that I likely would no longer play anymore except when back in US to obtain entry visas.

I noticed that a few online gambling sites are not accepting U.S. credit/debit cards now.

Has something changed in the U.S. online gambling laws?

A few years ago credit/debit cards from the U.S. would not be processed by these companies and the banks would not approve these transactions.

From what I've read the Wheel Generator does have the capability of applying an abbreviated wheel to the remaining combinations after filters are applied.

Thanks to a few members here at the LP, I've seen a connection with Florida and Georgia. New York is another Connector . lol

It's a good science, but I need more convincing as far as the viability, cost/profit ratio. Or a really good strategy.
