How do you plan on dribbling $200k per year from a charity that you won't benefit from in any way? That whole not benefitting thing is a pretty big part of the IRS' test, BTW.

Let's say you donate the $75 million that isn't withheld if you win $100 million cash. Then let's say it generates income at 6.667%, resulting in annual income of $5 million. If you draw $200,000 as an annual salary you'll be taking 4% of the income . That would be comparable to the CEO of the Red Cross drawing a salary... [ More ]

Congrats, you grasped the idea real quick. Now, if you use wheels on regular basis try to convert their definitions to the system I proposed. Should not take you very long. The advantage is that you always clearly know your target (W) and how much it's going to cost you (T). From my personal experience I always prefered N from 14 to 18 that targetted W of 3 or 4. Occasionally, even if I targetted only 3 (W) I could come up with 4 for a win. Depends on quality of the wheel.

I think it would be extremely unlikely that a winning ticket would ever get printed as a loser. They have to stop the presses and intentionally insert those tickets into the run and no doubt they not only inspected (with close scrutiny) but also monitor.

They also publish each time one gets cashed so the public can monitor the games progress.

They also have all kinds of disclaimers concerning errors, omissions and typos, so it an accepted part of playing the game.

Lottery pools are still best as it gives you more tickets at a lower cost. I don't think it will be as popular as playing on ur own due to issues with trust. Imagine having someone like mirlande Wilson buying ur tickets.

well i have not looked at the mega millions too much since last draw...but you should play mega ball 36...it may be cycling soon...

i would stay with the low number trend...i can pick a winner in five minutes...but sometimes it may take a couple of draws before it hits...

the large matrix makes the system more difficult...it works more on point for a 5/39 game than a 5/56 game...i dont play powerball anymore.

I would buy prescription sunglasses and then get a nice pair of nikes shoes for walking. Then I would go to the big and tall store and get all new clothes for summer. I drive to Georgia. They keep their lotto open and above-board. Does anyone really think any state lotto that uses RNG computers is giving the player a fair shake? I certainly don't.

I have been tweeking my cold period count for the pick 3 game...took me a half hour for each position up to Jan 1, 2012...

the pick 5 is becoming exceedingly elusive and depressing...i figure $1000 per week in pick 3 may be a more attainable goal...if the cold count is reliable...

I have decided that my odds are 35 times better on a $500,000. jackpot with a $20. scratcher ticket, so I will be spending the $500. (or more) on that instead of the MM long shot.

In the mean time I will still play 10 lines per draw on MM in defiance of Thriftys system of only spending $1. per draw total. My cost will be around $100. a month but its cheaper than a smoking habit and healthier.

yep, NY take 5 pay is cheap. .maybe because people are always winning on it perhaps. It's like every day or at least every other day someone is winning. Not just one but like 2 or 3 ..
