I am an Iowa resident and I personally know several dozen educated people.Their degrees are only good to have as something to talk about while standing in the unemployment line.The only people that benefit from everyone going to college are the professers and other people who work for the Universitys.They get to keep their government paid jobs.Most high school students are NOT college material.What this country needs is more jobs in the manufacturing segment of society and less college educated

I think I agree with you. I think someone stole the ticket and the true owner of the ticket was not aware that the ticket was a winner. That is the only reasonable thing that makes sense. It's only a public record if the law says it is, and in states that allow anonymity that information isn't a public record. I believe there have been cases where the lottery didn't publicize the name of a winner, but since there wasn't a specific allowance to remain anonymous the information was released due to a lawful request.

You're making a mountain out of a mole hill because the majority of sales in every state lottery including Tennessee are scratch-offs. If some players are worried about paying taxes or have a way of collecting their winnings without the IRS knowing, they'll continue to buy the online game tickets at their local stores.

I doubt interstate online ticket sales will drastically boost sales unless a lottery comes up with a must play game. The one area where I do see a potential is raffle tickets.

I always my play my tickests at a Go Mart here. The place is usually fairly busy and i think 1 employee there calls me by first name. I dont know any of the clerks thers name but i do make small talk with 3 or 4 of tham.
