A United Kingdom ticket-holder has come forward to claim Friday night's EuroMillions jackpot of more than £36 million (US$54.7 million).
It will not be revealed if the top prize was scooped by an individual or a lottery pool — or where the ticket was purchased — unless the winner decides to go public.
The winning numbers were 5, 19, 29, 31, and 40, with Lucky Star numbers 3 and 10. The jackpot was £36,298,267.
A National Lottery spokesman said, "We're delighted Friday's ticket-holder has come forward to claim this life-changing prize.
"This is the second EuroMillions jackpot to be won here in the UK in the last four weeks — we are definitely on a lucky streak.
"Players should still check their EuroMillions tickets as on top of the jackpot prize, we created 10 guaranteed millionaires in Friday's draw, who each also win a private yacht getaway."
The spokesman added that last night's jackpot ticket-holder has gone into 18th place in the National Lottery Rich List behind an anonymous ticket-holder who won £37.8 million in September 2012.
Top of the list are Colin and Chris Weir from Largs, North Ayrshire, who banked £161 million in July 2011.
