LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan Lottery is teaming with PayPal to offer players a new way to fund their online accounts.
Starting Monday, the lottery says players may use PayPal to fund accounts to play online games. To make a deposit into their lottery account, players must have a balance in their PayPal account or the account must be linked to a financial institution account.
Players also may withdraw winnings and direct them to their accounts with the payments system company.
Lottery players can win up to $500,000 instantly online. The lottery offers more than 30 online games with plays ranging in price from 5 cents to $20. The lottery in January added four draw games to its online offerings: Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto 47, and Fantasy 5.
Lottery officials say more than 276,000 people have registered to play online games, which were launched in 2014.
The acceptance of lottery payments represents a departure for PayPal, which has traditionally avoided any gambling-related financial transactions.
This could go nationwide.
And here I thought PayPaö doesn't except transfers for gambling, drugs and sex work.
Hence the last sentence in the article.
Reading is truly fundamental.
Offering a variety of Online games is the future of any successful state lottery and the Michigan Lottery understand it.
It is best to use debit cards, no fees or charges, as it comes straight out of saving account.
Does Michigan accept out of state players??
No, but Massachusetts offers a subscription service which is available across the country by phone, with a debit card.
Thank you. Mi players need to be aware, they have a FP 13 out 732 draws. Last FP 13 was 130. The ones below are longest out.
I must be dense this morning, but I don't understand your post. Explain please.
FP = Front Pair 13
Skipped 732 draws. Other words, the pair is at the maximum skip and has not been drawn in over 2 years, math avg skip is 100 draws.
I appreciate any & all tips and was going to follow & play but it's only been 72 draws not 732.
FP13 pulled in Michigan on 3/11/16 as 132. Maybe that was a different state.
But here's a really past due straight...572. Last show as a straight on 2/12/2002. 14 long years!!!!!
Thank you so much. In other words, don't play them numbers!
Soon enough my subscriptions to Mega Millions, L4L and Megabucks Doubler will expire in August. So far only Megabucks Doubler has done anything, but there's always the next drawing. I may take a year off from their subscription service, we'll see.
